Youth Development Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Youth Development Specialist to join our team in Southampton. As a Youth Development Specialist, you will be working with unaccompanied asylum-seeking children and care leavers to help them live independently.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people and enabling them to shape their own future. You will work closely with a diverse group of young people, providing practical support and guidance to help them achieve their goals. This role requires a flexible and adaptable approach, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with vulnerable groups and a strong understanding of the challenges faced by young people in care or fleeing conflict. You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to empowering young people to take control of their lives and make informed decisions about their futures. If you have transferable skills and the drive to make a positive impact on the lives of young people, we would love to hear from you.
In this role, you can expect to earn an estimated £23,400 - £24,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications. The location of this role is in Southampton, where you will be based at one of our supported accommodation services. You must be willing and able to travel within the local area, using your own vehicle if necessary. A full UK driving licence is required for this role.
