The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team and help drive advancements in renewable energy. As a Data Analyst, you will use your expertise in BigQuery and Looker to extract, analyse, and visualise complex datasets, providing key insights that support our mission. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven recommendations and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Extract, clean, and analyse large datasets from multiple sources using BigQuery, and develop comprehensive reports and dashboards in Looker to support various business functions.
  • Data Visualisation: Design and create intuitive and impactful data visualisations using Looker to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Data Management: Maintain data integrity and ensure high levels of data quality by developing and implementing data governance practices, and monitor and troubleshoot data anomalies.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Finance, and Engineering, to provide analytical support and insights, and present data-driven recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience: 3-5 years as a Data Analyst with expertise in Looker (LookML, dashboards), strong SQL skills, and experience with Google BigQuery or similar data warehouses.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced SQL, Looker for visualisation, familiarity with ETL processes, and understanding of data warehousing concepts.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
