Role: Class 2 Driver

Job Summary:

Our EG Group team is seeking a reliable HGV Driver to join our logistics team in Durham. This is a full-time 40-hour permanent opportunity with guaranteed contracted hours inclusive of 45 minutes paid breaks. You will start your early morning shift at our Bakery, complete checks and load your vehicle with Cooplands products. Once this is complete, you will hit the road and travel along a structured route delivering products to our retail destinations.

As a HGV Driver, your typical day starts between 2:00am and 3:00am. You will head back to the bakery and prepare your vehicle for the following day after your delivery drops are complete.

This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys early mornings and working in a routine driven fast-paced environment. You must be physically capable as heavy lifting will be involved.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Class 2 License
  • Up to date CPC (All CPC hours included in working week and paid)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Available for early morning starts between 2am and 3am
