Academic Mentor Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Academic Mentor to join our Department of Human Resources at Carlton Bolling, a large secondary school in Bradford. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the academic outcomes of our students.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting students to achieve their academic potential through the provision of high-quality mentoring and support. Key responsibilities include developing and delivering bespoke intervention sessions in English and/or Maths to small groups of students.
As an Academic Mentor, you will work closely with teachers, staff, and students to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Your expertise and guidance will help students to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
The salary for this position is £22,286 - £24,567 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in supporting student achievement. The working pattern includes Monday to Thursday (8:15am - 4pm) and Friday (8am - 2pm). We are looking for a committed individual who can start by February 2025 or earlier.
