Automotive Technician Trainee

We are seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as a Vehicle Care Specialist. As a Tyre Pros technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of customer service and vehicle maintenance.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out safety inspections and routine maintenance to manufacturers specifications
- Demonstrating the fundamentals of vehicle systems including steering and suspension, braking systems, battery & charging systems, exhaust systems and air-conditioning
This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in the automotive industry with STS Tyre Pros, one of the leading tyre retailers in the UK. Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to become a fully-fledged Tyre Pro technician.
You will attend our state-of-the-art training centres for 15 separate weeks over the 27-month programme. All training costs including travel, hotel, breakfast and evening meal will be covered, so there's no cost to you. You will also receive first-class support from our dedicated coaching team, highly qualified technical trainers, and excellent online learning facilities.
What We OfferUpon successful completion of the Apprenticeship, you'll achieve:
- Level 2 Autocare Apprenticeship
- Functional Skills in English and Maths (if required)
- Level 2 Award in Vehicle Fitting Principles and Competence
- Level 2 Framework Certificate in Vehicle Fitting Operations
- Essential Skills Wales in Maths and English (if required)
- Level 2 Award in Employee Rights and Responsibilities
