About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Marlborough House Adolescent Inpatient Unit. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee the delivery of care and day-to-day management of the ward.
  • Key work a small number of young people on the ward, ensuring up-to-date risk assessments and care plans that reflect their individual needs.
  • Support the delivery of our Eating Disorder Program (EDP) and Managing Emotions Pathway (MEP), including key working and supervising meals with young people.
  • Take a proactive role in decision-making on the daily care and risk management of young people.
Requirements
  • RMN/RNLD or RNC qualification.
  • Knowledge of mental illness and its treatments relating to young people.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Positive and motivated personality, with the ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries.
