About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Kingdom Healthcare. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Help clients with toileting, continence care, and incontinence management.
  • Assist with mobility, including helping clients move around their home and using mobility aids.
  • Assist with medication management and observe and report any changes in clients' health or behaviour.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness.
  • Engage clients in conversation and recreational activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.

Requirements:

  • Compassion and empathy are essential for providing client-centred care and emotional support.
  • Effective communication skills are necessary for working with clients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Attention to detail is crucial for monitoring health changes and administering care accurately.
  • Physical stamina is necessary for assisting patients with mobility and performing physically demanding tasks.
