Corporate Tax Senior Manager

TPF Recruitment is working with a leading firm of chartered accountants in Maidstone, known for their strong reputation across the South East. Our client is a top 15 firm of chartered accountants providing a wide range of accounting services to a diverse client portfolio, including sole traders, LLPs, and Ltd companies. They are seeking a Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join their successful team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with local partners to deliver a range of tax work.
  • Collaborate with a diverse range of clients, from owner-managed companies and quoted groups to local and national charities.
  • Be involved in compliance and ad hoc advisory work, as well as business development initiatives, working with the team to generate new work.
  • Deliver general corporate tax consultancy, including group reorganisations, advice on structuring acquisitions, due diligence work, and corporate debt in a group context.
  • Research and development tax relief, patent box, international tax advice, and capital allowances reviews.
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified with a corporate tax focused career background, developed within a mix of in-house and/or accountancy practice firm backgrounds.
  • Bring a mix of compliance and planning skills, with expertise in some areas of corporate tax advisory project work and a desire to develop further in other areas.
  • Have the opportunity to work on a wide range of work, developing technical skills within a supportive team and office culture.
