IT Educator

Job Summary:

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate IT Educator to join our team at a dynamic secondary school in the UK. As an IT Educator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and fostering a love for technology in students.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced IT Educator who can plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to students of varying abilities. You will be responsible for supporting students in developing strong digital literacy and technical skills, monitoring and assessing student progress, and providing feedback to guide their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective lesson plans that meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
• Support students in developing strong digital literacy and technical skills, including programming, software development, and data analysis.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to guide their learning journey.
• Collaborate with the school's pastoral team to support students' well-being and provide a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Contribute to the school's extracurricular programme, including technology clubs and competitions.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, ECT or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching IT at secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
