Assistant to the Finance Director

We are seeking an experienced Assistant to the Finance Director to join our dynamic team in Manchester City Centre.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Finance Director in managing the finances of the law firm and providing administrative support to the finance team.
- Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Reconciling bank accounts and ensuring payments are correctly processed
- Managing client and office account bank reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate records and files
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders
You will also be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing effective administrative processes
- Assisting with the recruitment and induction of new staff members
- Contributing to the achievement of departmental goals and objectives
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand SRA rules and regulations
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Time management and ability to prioritise workload independently
- Experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Xero
- Ability to create effective professional relationships
- Interest and actively stay up to date with legislation and regulatory changes
A competitive salary of up to £35,000 per annum, along with a range of benefits including training and development opportunities, employee of the month scheme, and company social events.
