Key Responsibilities:
- Teach a range of subjects to students in Key Stage 1 and 2, including English, Mathematics, Science, and Humanities.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of diverse learners.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve academic performance.
- Develop and implement effective behavior management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum materials and resources.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the decision-making process.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Comply with school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and child protection.
Requirements:
- Qualified Class Teacher with experience in Primary Schools, specifically in EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
- Excellent behavior management skills and ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues and contribute to the development of curriculum materials.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service and excellent understanding of Safeguarding practices.
