About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Disabilities Specialist to join our team at Tripod Partners in Oldham, Greater Manchester.

This role offers a chance to make a positive impact on the lives of adults with learning disabilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with learning disabilities to identify their needs and support requirements.
  • Develop and implement person-centered support plans to promote independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, including health, education, and housing, to ensure a coordinated approach.
  • Provide guidance and support to individuals and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience working in a learning disabilities team

Salary: £30 per hour
