About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our team at South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Fleet Workshop, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles and equipment to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake service, maintenance, and repair activities on motor vehicles and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair faults using diagnostic equipment
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve high levels of productivity and quality
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and components used
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures

Requirements

  • HND in Mechanical/Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Recognised Motor Vehicle Indentured Apprenticeship or training scheme
  • Current clean driving license
  • Significant experience of fault finding and diagnosis within a vehicle/electronic/mechanical/engineering field
