About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HGV 1 driver to join our team at Jark (Wakefield) Ltd. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations in Barnsley.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate a HGV 1 curtain sider vehicle
  • Make up to 10 deliveries per day
  • Strap and secure goods for transportation
  • Work a variety of shifts, including early starts and long hours
Requirements
  • 12 months previous experience of HGV 1 driving in the UK
  • No more than 6 points for minor offences only
  • Full driving licence
  • In-date CPC and Digi card
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
What We Offer
  • Genuine PAYE at £15.56 and £23.52 after 8 hours worked per hour Monday to Friday
  • £25 per night out with paid parking
