About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Drama Teacher to join our team at a reputable school in the Greater London area. As a Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering inspiring and motivating lessons to students in KS3-5, creating a stimulating and motivating learning environment that fosters creativity and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Drama, aligned with the current curriculum
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social and emotional learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources
  • Contribute to the development of the school's Drama department, including curriculum planning and assessment
Requirements
  • QTS or PGCE in Drama or a related subject
  • Experience in teaching Drama to KS3-5 students
  • Strong subject knowledge and pedagogical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and develop effective relationships with students
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with curriculum changes
