Metallurgist Job Description

Futures Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Metallurgist to join our team. As a Metallurgist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our heat treatment services, which are supplied to multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct metallurgical work on site and participate in quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Investigate non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and liaise with customers to resolve issues.
  • Develop and manage material specifications, oversee subcontract testing, and contribute to process improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve cost-saving methods and maintain high customer service levels.

Requirements:

  • Recognized materials science or metallurgy qualification (HNC/HND or higher).
  • At least five years of post-qualification experience in Heat Treatment.
  • Proven track record of working with various metals, including Steel, Nickel, Titanium, and Aluminium.
