Industrial Metalworker

We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Metalworker to join our team at Grundon Careers in South Oxfordshire. As a key member of our fabrication and welding workshop, you will be responsible for repairing and refurbishing waste containers and compaction units to meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience with MIG welding, attention to detail, and the ability to follow CAD engineering drawings and instructions. You must be able to work efficiently to production schedules, adhere to strict health & safety regulations, and maintain equipment in the workshop.

You will also be responsible for testing repaired items before returning them to customers. A valid full driving licence is required for occasional travel to customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and refurbish waste containers and compaction units to meet customer requirements
• Follow CAD engineering drawings and instructions for each job
• Conduct final testing before returning items to customers

Estimated Salary: £712 per week
