Job Title: Special Educational Needs Support Specialist

Salary: £83,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate learning support assistant to join our team. This role involves working closely with students with diverse learning needs, providing tailored support to help them achieve their full potential in a safe and inclusive environment.

  • Support the learning and development of students with SEN in both group and one-on-one settings.
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of the SENCO and teaching staff.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to monitor and support progress.
About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, etc.).
  • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning and development.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEN (desirable but not essential).
  • Be part of a supportive and inclusive school community.
  • Access to professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to provide support for students with SEN.
  • To develop and implement tailored educational plans to meet the needs of students with SEN.
  • To contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic achievement and social growth.
