Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Nurse to join our team at EMS Healthcare Ltd. As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will play a critical role in the delivery of a clinical trial into the early detection of Oesophageal Cancer, the BEST 4 Screening Study.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage clinics on the BEST 4 mobile unit and administer the capsule sponge test
  • Work alongside established clinical teams, researchers, research nurses, and administrators to facilitate recruitment, sample collection, data entry, and provide clinical support as required
  • Liaise closely with the clinic coordinator regarding appointments and cover on the unit
  • Work closely with the Clinical Coordinator, Clinical Research Team, and Project Managers to ensure we meet the study objectives
  • Ensure clinical and regulatory compliance, and that each participant's journey and their individual experience is to the highest standard
Requirements
  • NMC Registration with continued CPD
  • Previous research experience or Upper GI experience
  • Experience in performing nurse-led clinics
  • Full UK residency and a full and clean valid driving licence
  • ICH GCP Training
  • Prior experience in cancer research and endoscopy
