About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate a team of construction professionals to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental policies, and company procedures.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any issues or concerns.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or Construction Project Lead in a similar industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Valid SMSTS certificate and CSCS card.
  • BTEC diploma in Building Construction or NVQ Level 3 or 4 or similar.
