Job Overview

A fixed-term medical practitioner position is available in the Maternity Directorate at the John Radcliffe Hospital. This role involves general duties in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, including labour ward, antenatal and gynaecology clinics, and elective theatre lists. The appointee will work under the supervision of consultants, managing inpatients and outpatients in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced clinician with a keen interest in women's healthcare. They will be expected to work as part of a team to provide high-quality care to pregnant women, in line with the Trust's values.

Main Duties

The appointee will be based at the John Radcliffe Hospital and Horton General Hospital, working in the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. They will be responsible for working in the Maternity Assessment Unit, Delivery Suite, Antenatal and Postnatal wards, and Gynaecology clinics.

This role includes out-of-hours on-call commitment with compensatory rest and adherence to a b contract.
