- Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve nutritious, healthy meals to our residents.
Assist in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene in the kitchen.
Help to maintain food supplies and fridge/freezer temperatures.
Show new starters how to use kitchen equipment and maintain a clean working environment.
About the Role:
As a Kitchen Assistant at HC-One, you will be part of a dedicated team that provides exceptional care and support to our residents. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality food and service, with a focus on kindness and compassion.
Requirements:
We are seeking someone who:
- Has some kitchen experience and is willing to learn and develop their skills.
- Has an NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation or is willing to study for one.
- Has excellent record keeping and organisational skills.
- Can follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Can work effectively as part of a team and communicate with residents and colleagues.
- Can maintain confidentiality and uphold the values of HC-One.
