About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Portfolio Manager to join our team at Katch Investment Group. As a key member of our Litigation Finance Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth functioning of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client relationships within an existing portfolio of clients, fostering strong partnerships and driving business growth.
  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to ensure seamless execution of our litigation finance strategies.
  • Develop and implement effective client relationship management strategies to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitor and analyze client case and finance performance, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify new business opportunities within the portfolio, presenting findings and recommendations to the investment committee.
  • Prepare and present investment reviews to the investment committee, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, landmark cases, and market remediation schemes, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and inform investment decisions.
Requirements
  • Law degree or currently pursuing either the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) or the Legal Practice Course (LPC).
  • At least 3 years of experience in either a law firm or litigation finance business, with a proven track record of managing client relationships at senior levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in financial monitoring and reporting, with the ability to maintain precision and accuracy in all activities.
  • Proactive and independent, with the ability to operate efficiently with minimal oversight.
  • Fast learner, with the ability to quickly adjust to new procedures, tools, and systems.
