Job Summary: Locke & McCloud is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in protecting our systems and data from security threats.

About the Role: In this position, you will be responsible for identifying and integrating security tools within our development processes. You will work closely with our application security engineers to ensure that our security solutions are seamless and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Security Gap Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis to identify security gaps and develop strategies to address them.
  • Security Tool Integration: Integrate security tools within our development processes to ensure seamless security solutions.
  • Training and Documentation: Train our teams on core security products and create accessible documentation to ensure knowledge sharing.
  • Security Best Practices: Promote security best practices and develop automated monitoring systems to ensure our systems are secure.
  • Secure-by-Default Practices: Help establish secure-by-default practices for our engineering teams to ensure security is integrated into our workflows.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Java, experience with cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Operational and Troubleshooting Expertise: Strong Linux administration skills and knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of SDLC: Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and tools like JIRA, Git, and Nexus.
  • Security Frameworks: Understanding of security frameworks like OWASP Top 10 and CVSS.
