Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Support Assistant to join our multi-disciplinary Business Support Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional and welcoming reception and facilities services in our Edinburgh and Glasgow offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Manage multiple demands and priorities, utilizing excellent organisational and planning skills to ensure seamless event coordination.
  • Utilise Microsoft packages, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, to create and maintain spreadsheets, documents, and presentations.
  • Develop and standardise presentations using PowerPoint, demonstrating strong creative and technical skills.
  • Establish good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating needs and requirements.
  • Manage meeting rooms, ensuring setup and equipment are tailored to meet specific requirements.
  • Coordinate corporate catering, sourcing suppliers and recommending options to customers.
  • Oversee stationery and supplies, maintaining inventories and reordering as necessary.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer-focused environment, preferably in a business support role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SharePoint would be an advantage.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands.
