We are seeking a skilled Gardener to join our team at Richmond Village, a retirement village provider that delivers person-centred care and supports independence. As a Gardener, you will play a vital role in maintaining our large site of mature gardens, wildflower meadow areas, and a Bowling Green.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the village gardens, including grass cutting, shrub bed maintenance, weed control, litter-picking, leaf clearance, and watering.
- Ensure the grounds are tidy and remove any litter. Clean out drainage ditches and culverts as required.
- Provide a first-class horticultural environment for our residents, liaising with contractors where necessary.
- Advise the management team on potential gardening issues and help plan areas that require improvement.
- Support our maintenance operatives with repairs, such as fixing fences or painting outbuildings.
