We are seeking an experienced Public Health Nursing Professional to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will work in partnership with families, schools, and other agencies to provide public health-based services that improve the health and wellbeing of children and young people.

About the Role

This Band 5 position involves working as part of a team to provide health assessments for children and young people, and to contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and service protocols. Key responsibilities include:

  • Working in partnership with families and other agencies to contribute to the assessment framework for children in need/Early Help Assessment processes
  • Providing health assessments for children and young people as required
  • Coordinating and managing own workload, including data collection, maintenance of records, and ensuring reporting mechanisms are in place and working effectively

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Registered Nurse (NMC) qualification (RN/RMN/Midwife)
  • Nursing experience of working with families/children in either acute or community settings
  • Experience of working within a skill-mix team and on own initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to present information written and orally in a clear logical manner

We offer a competitive salary of £35,844 - £44,884 per annum, depending on experience. The estimated annual salary range is based on the title, job description, and location.
