Harris Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Estimating to lead our roofing estimating team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely estimates for our roofing projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure that our estimating system, SC01, is up-to-date with the latest information and lessons learned.
- Authorise and cross-check submissions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to facilitate accurate estimating.
- Have a thorough understanding of our estimating software, MSP, to ensure seamless submissions.
- Participate in Bid Team meetings to provide pricing and logistical expertise.
- Collaborate with Sales and Contracts teams to ensure smooth handovers and improve process efficiency.
- Conduct site visits to provide drawings and take-offs for orders.
- Directly manage a team of estimators across our service centers.
- Provide support and assistance to estimators during peak periods.
- Attend site surveys as required and maintain open communication with Service Center Managers and Sales Director.
- Lead the preparation of tender submissions for national opportunities.
