About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solicitor to join our Disease team in Glasgow. As a key member of our team, you will handle a caseload of pre-litigated and litigated Disease cases for both insurer and uninsured clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct forensic reviews and analysis of relevant documents to determine liability and quantum.
  • Assist in drafting advice and client liaison, including site visits and reviewing files to assess litigation strategy.
  • Draft court documents and correspondence to clients and witnesses, as well as preparing witness statements and instructions to experts and counsel.
  • Collaborate with Partners and other team members to achieve business objectives.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, including drafting articles, blog pieces, and presentations.
Requirements
  • PQE experience as a Solicitor, with NQ Solicitors also welcome to apply.
  • Litigation experience, including Personal Injury, with a strong focus on Disease cases.
  • Excellent forensic skills, communication skills, and experience with sensitive and complex claims.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
