About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Radiologist to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in North Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret a wide range of breast imaging modalities, including mammograms, breast ultrasound, and MRI.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols for breast imaging.
  • Participate in teaching and training of radiology trainees, undergraduate students, and other hospital staff.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration and specialist registration in radiology.
  • Experience in breast imaging and general radiology, including cross-sectional imaging.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic IT skills and ability to use radiology information systems.
