Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the North West. The successful candidate will work on groundwork related subcontract packages, primarily for residential housing projects.

About the Role:

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and valuations for groundworks, plot works, remediation, and bulk earthworks.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring value for money and identifying any cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the project and site teams to ensure accurate measurement and valuation of work on-site.
  • Manage subcontractor payments and variations, providing accurate forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Support the project team in remediation and bulk earthworks, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

About You:

  • Previous experience within groundworks.
  • Knowledge of plot works, remediation, and bulk earthworks.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of cost control and management processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
