Pharmacist Opportunity in Scotland

We are recruiting for a Pharmacist to join our team in a family-run and community-centred pharmacy in Scotland. This is a permanent and full-time position, with no late nights expected past 6pm, although some Saturdays may be required (with reduced hours). You will be supported by a team of pharmacists and technicians in this growing pharmacy, with an extremely competitive salary on offer for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispense medications as prescribed by doctors and other healthcare professionals.
  • Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and evaluate their suitability for the patient.
  • Provide advice to patients on the use of medicines, including dosage, side effects, and interactions with other medications.
  • Counsel patients on the management of chronic diseases.
  • Conduct medication reviews to ensure patients are taking their medications as prescribed.
  • Order and stock medications and medical supplies.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative.
  • Good time management and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
What We're Looking For:
  • Registration with the GPhC.
  • Relevant experience in a pharmacy setting.
