Geotechnical Engineer Opportunity

About the Role

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join their team in the Warwick area. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting site investigations, desk studies, borehole logging, groundwater and gas monitoring, and writing and reviewing factual and interpretive reports.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Carry out site investigations and desk studies to gather data and information.
  2. Conduct borehole logging and groundwater and gas monitoring to assess site conditions.
  3. Write and review factual and interpretive reports to present findings and recommendations.
  4. Assist with proposals and project management to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  1. Demonstrable experience as a geotechnical and/or geo-environmental engineer.
  2. Competence in factual and interpretive report writing.
  3. Keen to progress in your career and interested in moving towards a senior role.
  4. Hold a degree in geology, geotechnical engineering, geoscience, or a similar, relevant subject.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Hold a full and valid UK driving licence.
  7. Be commutable to the Warwick area.
  8. Have a full right to work in the UK.
