Overview: Caramel Talent Limited is seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Manager to join our Children's Residential Care Home team. The Role: As the Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and leading the staff team, while ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained for each child. You will play a key role in creating a nurturing and safe environment where children feel accepted and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Support: Support the day-to-day operations of the children's home, ensuring it functions in line with current legislation and regulatory frameworks.
  • Staff Leadership: Lead and support the residential workers, providing supervision, guidance, and development opportunities.
  • Child Welfare: Ensure the welfare and care of each child is prioritized, promoting their well-being and development.
  • Shift Leadership: Take responsibility for leading shifts, supervising staff, managing rotas, and ensuring policies and risk assessments are adhered to.
  • Relationship Building: Work closely with children to foster positive relationships, and ensure their needs are met.
