Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Fundamental Strategies Group (FSG) in London. As a key member of our Corporate Credit team, you will be responsible for generating trade ideas, building financial models, and analyzing debt documentation to help Goldman Sachs manage risk and add value for institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fundamental micro and macro analyses to generate trade ideas
  • Build and maintain complex financial models to support investment decisions
  • Analyze debt documentation, including indentures and credit agreements, to identify potential risks and opportunities
  • Produce high-quality content on trade ideas, investment themes, and market analysis to inform trading and sales teams
  • Collaborate with trading and sales teams to advise on market flows and positioning within European HY and IG

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance or economics
  • Proven experience in fundamental analysis, leveraged finance, or credit trading
  • Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills
  • Strong commercial orientation and ability to adapt to dynamic markets
  • Established relationships with institutional investors and hedge funds
  • Fluency in one or more European languages
  • Good understanding of credit metrics and legal terms governing credit agreements
