Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead playtime group activities at our multi-activity day camp during summer and school holiday weekdays. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing engaging games, assisting with various activities, and monitoring the well-being of the children under their care.

About the Role:

  • Lead and deliver a variety of sports and craft activities, promoting creativity and fun in our camp environment.
  • Assist with daily planning and preparation of activities, ensuring seamless delivery and high-quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and progress, reporting any concerns or issues to senior staff.
  • Foster positive relationships with colleagues, parents, and campers, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work collaboratively with other coordinators to develop and implement new programs, ensuring alignment with Camp Beaumont's mission and values.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Childcare (Early Years, QTS/PGCE) or studying towards a relevant childcare qualification.
  • 17 years old or over.
  • Availability to work during school holidays.
  • A UK/EU citizen with the right to live and work in the UK.
  • The ability to demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with children.
