About the Role

The Prince of Wales Hospice is seeking an experienced Individual Giving Fundraiser to join their fundraising team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those affected by terminal illnesses.

As an Individual Giving Fundraiser, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies to secure donations from individuals. This will involve building relationships with donors, creating engaging appeals, and managing legacy administration.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement individual giving strategies to secure donations from a range of sources, including in-memorial and legacy giving.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with donors, soliciting support and stewarding gifts.
  3. Collaborate with the fundraising and marketing teams to deliver campaigns and communications that maximise income streams.
  4. Manage legacy administration, including building relationships with solicitors, will writers, and other stakeholders.
  5. Contribute to the development of the Income Generation Business Plan and budgets.
About You

We are looking for an experienced and personable fundraiser with excellent writing and communication skills. You will have experience of using customer relationship management databases and knowledge of fundraising CRM systems.

An ideal candidate will have experience of creating engaging appeals, managing budgets, and working with volunteers or staff. You will be able to demonstrate empathy and emotional intelligence, with a positive professional approach at all times.
