About the Role

GKN Aerospace is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Procurement Excellence to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing global procurement processes, digital solutions, and business analytics to drive excellence and efficiency across our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global procurement strategies, processes, and digital solutions to drive excellence and efficiency.
  • Lead and develop a team of procurement experts to support the implementation of procurement excellence initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, business leaders, and other functions.
  • Provide thought leadership and expertise on procurement excellence and digital solutions to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, engineering, or supply chain management.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a strong track record of leading global teams and implementing procurement excellence initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and digital solutions, including commodity management and business analytics.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of procurement experts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
