Cure Talent is partnering with a leading medical device company to find a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their R&D team.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in system-level design, development, and documentation. The successful candidate will lead the design and development of electrical systems for complex electromechanical medical machinery, applying engineering principles and techniques to bring innovative new products to market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for medical equipment, ensuring compliance with medical electrical standards and regulated industry design control processes.
  • Lead system and subsystem-level designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring products to market.
  • Develop and document electrical systems, including requirements and test procedures for electrical systems and printed circuit board assemblies.
  • Provide technical guidance to project teams, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and 5+ years of system-level experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects, including report generation.
  • Leadership experience in managing schedules, resources, and providing technical guidance to project teams.
  • Experience with Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) and serviceability.
  • Familiarity with controlling electro-mechanical devices and understanding machine electrical hardware.
