Job Summary

PepsiCo UK is a leading manufacturer of food and drink products, with a reputation for developing and launching products that consumers love. As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate all tasks associated with shutdowns, collaborating with Operations and Maintenance teams to deliver effective plans that continuously improve reliability, AIB, and labour costs.
  • Drive effective scheduling to implement asset care, achieving greater than target KPIs on monthly scorecards, and collaborating daily with Operations to maintain targets via QCDM meetings.
  • Review and prioritize work orders/requests through effective collaboration with Maintenance and Operation teams.
  • Support Improvement Teams by scheduling Failure Analysis work orders as required from the Teams feedback.
  • Ensure weekly scorecards are produced and fed back to teams, supplying labour utilisation information, maintaining SAP, using Data standards, preparing ad-hoc reports, entering and modifying tasks and instructions as required.
  • Maintain SAP data, including new equipment and associated asset care regimes.
  • Take an active role in supporting the site on actions and taking ownership of agreed issues relating to internal audits such as PEMM, BRC, and AIB.
Requirements
  • Highly numerate, with analytical thinking, ability to support the Maintenance Team, Operations, and others with decisions and judgements.
  • Ability to work in a changing environment, generating ideas and solutions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload.
  • Highly motivated and a strong team player with good people skills, having effective written and verbal communication skills across a range of contacts, both within the organisation and beyond.
  • Skills in influencing others, with the ability to negotiate.
  • Computer skills, Excel, Word, and capability to operate SAP.
  • Must demonstrate assertiveness and confidence to take an active part in meetings with fellow employees and external contractors at all levels.
  • Knowledge of the system equipment.
  • Daily contact with peers and other employees at all levels.
  • Having a basic knowledge of system flow streams and how items of equipment can affect system efficiency and pallet quality.
  • Having a personality to accommodate snap shot changes in production/equipment demands.
