Job Title: Injection Room Nurse

Job Summary:

The Injection Room Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a safe and efficient clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the injection room area for daily operations
  • Administer allergy injections with precision and care
  • Restock supplies and order new materials as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of patient charges and treatments
  • Collect co-pays and provide patient receipts
  • Monitor and maintain refrigerator temperatures and vial organization
  • Discard expired vials and maintain HIPAA compliance
  • Provide education and support to patients on injection procedures and policies
  • Stay up-to-date on medications and treatment protocols
  • Participate in emergency procedures and protocols

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Nursing (LPN/RN) with active and unrestricted KY and IN Nursing Licenses
  • 6 months' experience in a medical office setting
  • Previous allergy/asthma experience preferred
  • CPR certification required
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Ability to travel to satellite offices as needed

Work Environment:

The Injection Room Nurse will work in a fast-paced clinical environment, interacting with patients, staff, and management. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
