Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Field Service & Repair Engineer - Welding

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service & Repair Engineer - Welding to join our team at Allstaff. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and repair solutions to our clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Visit clients' premises to provide repair and maintenance services for welding systems and equipment
  • Undertake servicing and calibration of welding equipment, including software installation and updates
  • Provide technical support to customers, troubleshooting issues at client premises and remotely
  • Support company trade fairs, exhibitions, and events, providing pre- and after-sales support
  • Maintain and manage stock levels, participating in yearly stock takes
Requirements:
  • Relevant electrical qualifications to carry out electrical repairs
  • Strong knowledge of manual electrode, TIG, and MIG/MAG welding processes
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office, CRM systems, and SharePoint
  • Customer-oriented, organized, and motivated with a can-do attitude
  • Flexibility to travel across the UK, with occasional overnight stays
  • Cost-conscious and able to manage stock levels effectively
  • Full driving license is essential for this role
