Job Title: Shipping Manager

Join our team as a Shipping Manager and take on a challenging role that requires strong organizational and communication skills. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transportation of goods from our warehouse to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with our production team to ensure timely shipment of goods.
  • Organize and manage the transportation of goods, including arranging for drivers and trailers.
  • Ensure that all loading lists are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Minimize loading errors by implementing robust procedures with loading operators.
  • Expand our network of transport to site using contacts.
  • Ensure we get the best value for money.
Other Duties:
  • Work closely with our production team to ensure production plans are aligned with shipping schedules.
  • Investigate any customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure trailers are up-to-date with services and MOTs.
  • Arrange cover for drivers during holidays or sickness.
  • Invoice daily despatches.
  • Control of Haulier invoices.
Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
