We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Equipment Specialist to join our team in Chester, Crewe, and North Wales. As a Service Engineer with Luton Bennett, you will have the opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer of forklift trucks, providing exceptional maintenance and repair services to our customers.

Competitive Salary and Benefits

Our competitive salary range is £31,000 - £36,000 per annum, offering a starting salary that reflects your experience and qualifications. In addition to your salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Paid door-to-door travel and overtime paid at 1.5 and 2.0 times the hourly rate
  • A fully expensed van for personal use, fuel card, and 6% employer pension contribution
  • 4% employee pension contribution, training package, 25 days holiday, and bank holidays
  • IT equipment, uniform, and weekly laundry service
About the Role

As a Mobile Equipment Specialist with Luton Bennett, you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts and associated equipment in the specified geographical area. You will work independently, utilizing your mechanical service and repair skills, engine diagnostic, and basic electrical skills to ensure minimal downtime for our customers.

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade experience
  • Engine diagnostics and some basic electrical skills
  • Ideal candidates will hold a level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject

We offer comprehensive training to ensure you become fully competent on all machinery and equipment. Your spares will be placed in your van overnight, allowing you to respond promptly to customer needs.
