Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Location Assistant to join our team at Anchor Hanover Group. As a key member of our housing and care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our residents, ensuring their homes are well-maintained, and addressing any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the location's budget and service charge accounts to ensure residents' homes are well-maintained and repairs are completed to a high standard.
  • Ensure the location is safe, and all health and safety checks and risk assessments are carried out in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Support residents to live independently by working with external agencies to provide support to residents with a range of needs.
  • Connect with residents to encourage inclusion in social events both internally and in the wider community.

Requirements

  • Previous housing or care experience, ideally with vulnerable client groups.
  • Able to problem-solve with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
