Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Classroom Leader to join our team in Barking & Dagenham. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in the classroom and develop their teaching skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead lessons confidently in the absence of a class teacher
  • Support students on a whole-class basis, including those with special educational needs
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies
  • Work closely with the teaching team to ensure continuity in learning
  • Engage with students both inside and outside the classroom, focusing on progress and attainment
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs

Requirements
  • Hold a 1:1 or 2:1 degree from a leading UK university
  • Have previous experience in teaching or leading lessons
  • Be confident in managing behaviour and supporting SEND students
  • Possess strong GCSEs and A-Levels, demonstrating broad subject knowledge
  • Show a commitment to creating a structured, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
