Protect the Client's Assets

We are seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team at 26-28 Hammersmith Grove. As a Security Officer, your primary responsibility will be to safeguard the client's staff, assets, and infrastructure by providing a security presence in addressing issues related to fire, damage, theft, and health and safety.

Main Duties:

  • To conduct regular foot patrols within designated areas as an effective deterrent against property and asset loss
  • To control access to the client's premises, examining documentation to verify authenticity and authority for entry
  • To monitor CCTV and alarm functions, being aware of their operation and responding accordingly
  • To escort visitors to their destinations within the client complex
  • To submit detailed reports on discovered issues related to health and safety and crime to relevant authorities
  • To perform routine search procedures in a sensitive manner, including vehicles, buildings, and individuals
  • To effectively handle incidents within the security remit and report them to the relevant authorities
  • To provide locking services as required, securing doors and gates according to client needs
  • To serve as a point of contact and information center for staff and visitors
  • To maintain accurate logs of visitors, incidents, and other required records
  • To manage the client's key safe, issuing and recording all key movements within the premises

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with people at all levels, projecting a confident and professional demeanor
  • To accurately observe and record incidents as they occur
  • Physical fitness for the work environment
  • Always presenting a smart appearance while representing the company image
  • Punctuality in attendance
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Experience in a similar role is preferred
  • A 5-year checkable work history or school record
  • SIA Frontline Licence and/or CCTV Licence
