The salary for this position is estimated to be around £65,000 - £85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost Estimation and Management: Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
  • Financial Reporting: Conduct cost analysis and financial reporting throughout project lifecycles.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Project Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage project cash flows and budgets.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify and assess commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Compliance and Liaison: Ensure compliance with relevant construction regulations and legislation, and liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project targets are met.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in cost management software and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is preferred.
  • Full UK driving license.
