We are seeking a capable and confident Learning Support Assistant to join our Secondary setting. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing opportunities for personal and academic growth, and contributing to raising the standards of our students.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support to students with special educational needs, ensuring their inclusion and participation in lessons.
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, adapting materials to meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles.
- Help students with homework and projects, promoting independence and self-confidence.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting respect and empathy among students.
- Good level of spoken English.
- Experience in KS3 and/or KS4.
- GCSE English and maths.
- Be kind, friendly, professional, and have high expectations for all children.
The post is term-time only, 32.5 hours a week (46.01 weeks). Attendance at INSET Days and CPD sessions is required (5 days equivalence).
