Do you want to make a difference in nature conservation? We are looking for a Conservation Outreach Coordinator to join our team at RSPB, Europe's largest nature conservation charity.
In this role, you will play a key part in promoting our conservation efforts and generating new RSPB memberships through community outreach and engagement. You will use your company van to travel to different venues, set up fundraising stands, and interact with the public to raise awareness about our cause.
We offer a competitive salary of £27,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also enjoy a range of benefits, including 26 days of annual leave, pension, life assurance, and opportunities for career development.
To be successful in this role, you should have a valid driver's license, be happy to work 3 out of 4 weekends, and willing to travel an average of an hour away from home each day. Fundraising/Sales and Customer Service experience is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective community outreach strategies to promote RSPB's conservation efforts;
- Engage with the public to raise awareness about RSPB's mission and values;
- Set up and manage fundraising stands at various venues;
- Maintain accurate records of events, donations, and other relevant data.
